About Us

CRuSH is brought to you by TOUCH Cyber Wellness & Sports, our valued sponsors and various school partners.

CRuSH stands for Cyberspace Risks and where U Seek Help. First launched in Sept 2001, it has received support and funding from the Media Development Authority (MDA), Inter-Ministry Committee on Youth Crime (IMYC) and Starhub. It now encompasses a wide range of programmes, from “CRuSH roadshows” to Project CRuSH and Planet CRuSH. Primarily focusing on promoting cyber wellness for Singapore Youths, CRuSH also seeks to serve adults and young children - all these in line with our vision of strengthening families and transforming communities.

With increasing time spent in cyberspace, youths venture quickly into new domains with rules and reality different from that in the real-world. Inevitably, social issues and problems emerge in these new frontiers. However, youths have limited access to trustworthy role models and sound advice, and this presents new and unique challenges in parenting and education. TOUCH Cyber Wellness & Sports keeps itself updated on current Internet usage patterns, and actively engages youths and counsel those with Internet-related problems. TOUCH Cyber Wellness & Sports also recruits and trains adult and student volunteers to become ambassadors of the cyber wellness message, and mentors teenagers to adopt healthy values in a safe online community within their own classes and schools.

Since 2001, our roadshows have reached out to 230,000 students over 200 schools. Through Project CRuSH, we have trained over 70,000 students in cyber wellness. More than 300 volunteer e-mentors have also been trained and deployed as ambassadors of the cyber wellness message.
