Cyber Wellness Enrichment Programme (CWEP) is a programme specially designed by TOUCH Cyber Wellness & Sports to help youths who struggles with excessive computer gaming.
Grouped with adult mentors, the youths go through structural experiences, healthy alternate activities and comprehensive profiling packages like DISC and Multiple Intelligence.
The aim is to let them mingle with adult role models that they can look up to and help the participants build healthy self esteem by discovering their unique talents. This helps build their self confidence thus equipping them with the necessary skills to cope with the "real" world.
Over the five weeks participants went kayaking, fishing and trekking the hills of Pulau Ubin. It was a first time for many as they were constantly immersed in their "virtual" worlds. At the end of each session, the mentors also process with the youth valuable life lessons such as perseverance and patience.
