| Free Cyber Wellness Workshop #2 – We Did It Again!
Workshop #2 held last Saturday, 1 November, was another hit with parents who came despite
the rainy weather. This time, we held separate sessions for the 94 English-speaking and
Chinese-speaking parents.
The eye-opening and enriching sharing to teach truths and expose lies of the Internet was
very well-received. It was an eye-opening experience for many parents who were shown a
sampling of what their children could be exposed to in the Internet.
With relevant real life examples and personal sharing about their parenting journey by our
speakers, parents went away with a better understanding of the Internet and empowered with
handles on how to use it to teach good family values. Many saw and received the hope in
parenting their children well amidst the challenges of the Internet age.
This is what some parents said after the session:
"With the knowledge, there is always hope to help and guide our children on the
correct course." – Katherine Wong |
"It has met my purpose of my coming. I've learnt handles of how to approach this
topic in which I was at a lost before attending this talk. I will sign my 13 yr old boy up
for the Youth Adventure program." – Gillian Tan |
"The sharing was very informative and straight to the point. I'd a better
understanding of cyberwellness. Well done!" – Mdm Pong |
"Very enriching and useful. Time spent is worth it!" – A Parent |
Don't miss the final of our series of 3 free workshops! Join us this Saturday as we share about
