Event Description

In conjunction with MDA's Media Fiesta 2010, TOUCH is organizing a hands-on workshop for adults to learn to play games & Facebook with your child! Gain a better understanding on why your child loves to play games!

Through this workshop, parents will learn and experience social networking applications and online games popular with today's youths. The understanding gained through this seminar would enable participants to better appreciate these applications from the viewpoint of the youths. They would then be equipped to use the same medium to connect meaningfully with youths.

Bridging Generations Through the Internet is an action-packed, hands-on, in-depth seminar that will show participants how to:

1. Play an online game popular with youths.
2. Start a profile on a social networking site and begin making friends.
3. Understand the psychology, the dangers and the attractive nature of these popular sites.
