Cyber Wellness Handbook for Parents

The Cyber Wellness Handbook for Parents is a resource to equip parents and their children with the necessary knowledge and tools to achieve and enjoy cyber wellness.

People who have always wondered why their child is constantly on the computer need fret no more. Cyber Wellness for Parents offers the average parent a macro view of some common cyber wellness issues surrounding today's youths, and provides practical tips in parenting their children in the Internet age. Produced by the cyber wellness team of TOUCH Community Services, the 28-page handbook is chockfull of advice and insights from the industry's veteran. The handbook retails at S$6 at major bookstores.

The Handbook is also distributed through all MOE schools to parents of Primary Three to Secondary Three students in 2008.

About the author

TOUCH Community Services is a pioneer in the field of cyber wellness education. Since 2001, TOUCH has brought the cyber wellness mesage to more than 260 schools and 480,000 youths and adults; and in August 2006, pioneered the establishment of the first Cyber Wellness Centre in Singapore.

This handbook offers parents a comprehensive list of practical tips to better engage and guide their children on having a safe environment online. It is also an insightful guide on the wide range of interests that tech-savvy youths of today are involved in"
