who we are

TOUCH Cyber Wellness - a pioneer in the field of cyber wellness education since 2001 – works to promote cyber wellness values, healthy gaming and online safety. Through CRUSH (Cyberspace Risks and where U seek Help), TOUCH Cyber Wellness has reached out to over 600,000 people. We are also the key agency that provides counselling on cyber wellness issues.

At our very own PlanetCRUSH Cyber Wellness Centre, TCW provides a healthy gaming environment, engaging workshops and access to counsellors. We also actively educate our next generation using school-based roadshows and programmes. Through sports, we engage youths in character development.

Partnering government agencies

With its extensive track record and expertise in the area of cyber wellness, TCW became a key partner in the government’s education efforts. For example, in 2004, TCW worked with the Media Development Authority (MDA) to define the cyber wellness framework to guide and manage the use of the Internet. TCW also developed cyber wellness programme templates for the MDA to create greater public awareness.

As a testament of our good standing, TCW was again approached by the MDA in 2005 to train other trainers from authorised training centres to conduct cyber wellness training.

TCW also worked with National Youth Council (NYC) to publish a handbook - “The Offline Guide for the Online Generation” - for parents and educators. The latest publication in 2008 “Cyber Wellness Handbook for Parents” was supported by Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports (MCYS).

Please visit milestones for more details.

TCW is supported by the Ministry of Community Youth and Sports (MCYS), NYC, and the MDA, and is a service under TOUCH Youth, an affiliate of TOUCH Community Services. TOUCH Community Services is the winner of the Outstanding Non-profit Organisation Award at the National Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards 2007.
